A few things we personally keep in mind when travelling:

-
Opt for bottled water where possible
-
Be mindful of uncooked foods
-
Consider gut health supplements before and during your trip if helpful for you

Getting to the venue
While you can definitely Google all the local sights, here are a few highlights from our trip in 2024-
1. Jhalana Leopard Reserve - an early start but an exhilarating morning Safari. We visited in 2024 and were greeted by 4 leopards over the course of the morning - https://www.jhalanaleopardreserve.com/
2. Shikaar Bagh - known for its rich flavours, vibrant spices, and unique cooking techniques. Shikaar Bhagh is an upmarket restaurant serving the finest meat dishes.
3. Rambagh Palace – Once the residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur, Rambagh Palace is a stunning former royal residence that has since been transformed into a luxury hotel. We recommend enjoying the chai at the Verandah Café or drinks at the Polo Bar while taking in the beautiful surroundings.
4. Bar Palladio - This iconic cocktail bar is set within the historic Narain Niwas Palace gardens. Its interior mimics Renaissance Italy and Mughal-style design.

5. Trident hotel - Stunning views of the Jal Mahal with restaurants and outdoor seating perfect for tea, drinks, or a relaxed evening

5. Johri Bazaar: Famous for its world-renowned gemstones, jewellery, and traditional craftsmanship.
6. Bapu Bazaar: The ultimate destination for colorful Rajasthani textiles, bandhani (tie-dye) dupattas, pottery, and traditional juttis (shoes).

There are three options to get to Jaipur:

If you’re arriving straight from the airport or don’t have time to check in and change, please come as you are- we’d much rather see you there. The bride will be wearing Indian attire and the groom Western attire, with Indian or Western smart casual welcome for guests.
