The Details

For guests travelling from abroad, we want your trip to be as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. As with any international trip, a new climate, environment, and cuisine can take a little getting used to, so a few small preparations can be helpful.

A few things we personally keep in mind when travelling:

  • Opt for bottled water where possible

  • Be mindful of uncooked foods

  • Consider gut health supplements before and during your trip if helpful for you

Queries and Contacts

Please reach out to us if you have any questions. Closer to the time, you will hear from one of our event managers who will be able to support more with local recommendations and specific queries.

Guest Information

We are delighted to welcome you to the Pink City for our celebration. To ensure your stay is as enchanting as the city itself, we've curated some essential travel details and local recommendations.

The Palace is a 20-minute drive from Jaipur city centre. Uber and Ola can be used for travelling locally

Getting to the venue

While you can definitely Google all the local sights, here are a few highlights from our trip in 2024-

1. Jhalana Leopard Reserve - an early start but an exhilarating morning Safari. We visited in 2024 and were greeted by 4 leopards over the course of the morning - https://www.jhalanaleopardreserve.com/

2. Shikaar Bagh - known for its rich flavours, vibrant spices, and unique cooking techniques. Shikaar Bhagh is an upmarket restaurant serving the finest meat dishes.

3. Rambagh Palace – Once the residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur, Rambagh Palace is a stunning former royal residence that has since been transformed into a luxury hotel. We recommend enjoying the chai at the Verandah Café or drinks at the Polo Bar while taking in the beautiful surroundings.

4. Bar Palladio - This iconic cocktail bar is set within the historic Narain Niwas Palace gardens. Its interior mimics Renaissance Italy and Mughal-style design.

5. Trident hotel - Stunning views of the Jal Mahal with restaurants and outdoor seating perfect for tea, drinks, or a relaxed evening

5. Johri Bazaar: Famous for its world-renowned gemstones, jewellery, and traditional craftsmanship.

6. Bapu Bazaar: The ultimate destination for colorful Rajasthani textiles, bandhani (tie-dye) dupattas, pottery, and traditional juttis (shoes).

There are three options to get to Jaipur:

1. By Air: Jaipur International Airport is well connected to both domestic and international destinations, with direct and indirect flight options available from many major cities.

2. By Taxi: Jaipur is approximately a 4-hour drive from Delhi and can be reached easily by taxi. Please contact [Name] should you require any local assistance with bookings or travel arrangements.

3. By Train: The Shatabdi or Vande Bharat Express from New Delhi takes about 4.5 hours. It is comfortable, air-conditioned, and includes refreshments.

Check-in, Welcome Lunch & Mehendi

Our celebrations begin with a relaxed welcome lunch and afternoon of mehendi. If you’re arriving straight from the airport or don’t have time to check in and change, please come as you are- we’d much rather see you there. The bride will be wearing Indian attire and the groom Western attire, with Indian or Western smart casual welcome for guests.

Indian - lighter festive wear - kurtas · sarees · suits · co-ords · lehengas · nehru jacket

English - blazers · shirts and trousers · dresses · co-ords · smart separates · relaxed occasionwear

Your presence means far more to us than any dress code. We’ve created the guide below simply as a reference inspired by what the bride and groom and their families will be wearing, but please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and ready to celebrate!

Milni & Sangeet

An evening of celebration, performances, and dancing. We invite you to dress for the occasion in formal attire, embracing the glamour and spirit of the evening. The bride will be wearing Indian attire and the groom Western attire, with Indian or Western formal welcome for guests.
