There are three options to get to the venue:

1. By Air: Jaipur International Airport is well connected to both domestic and international destinations, with direct and indirect flight options available from many major cities.

2. By Taxi: Jaipur is approximately a 4-hour drive from Delhi and can be reached easily by taxi.

3. By Train: The Shatabdi or Vande Bharat Express from New Delhi takes about 4.5 hours. It is comfortable, air-conditioned, and includes refreshments.

For your convenience we have partnered with a local taxi service offering special rates for our wedding guests. Details of this will be updated on this website closer to the time.

Uber and Ola can be used for travelling locally - please ensure you direct the drive to this location

For guests travelling from abroad, we want your trip to be as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. As with any international trip, a new climate, environment, and cuisine can take a little getting used to, so a few small preparations can be helpful.

A few things we personally keep in mind when travelling:

  • Opt for bottled water where possible

  • Be mindful of uncooked foods

  • Strongly recommend gut health supplements before and during your trip

  • Please ensure you have the relevent vaccines and visas before travelling

Weather

Jaipur in November is dry and pleasantly warm during the day, with temperatures typically ranging from around 25-30°C (77-86°F) under clear, sunny skies. Evenings turn cooler, dropping to roughly 12-15°C (54-59°F), so a jacket is worth carrying once the sun goes down.

If you happen to be in Jaipur a day or two before or after the wedding, here are a few highlights from our trip together in 2024:

1. Jhalana Leopard Reserve - an early start but an exhilarating morning Safari. We visited in 2024 and were greeted by 4 leopards over the course of the morning - https://www.jhalanaleopardreserve.com/

2. Shikaar Bagh - known for its rich flavours, vibrant spices, and unique cooking techniques. Shikaar Bhagh is an upmarket restaurant serving the finest meat dishes.

3. Rambagh Palace – a stunning former royal residence that has since been transformed into a luxury hotel. We recommend enjoying the chai at the Verandah Café or drinks at the Polo Bar while taking in the beautiful surroundings.

4. Bar Palladio - This iconic cocktail bar is set within the historic Narain Niwas Palace gardens.

5. Trident hotel - Stunning views of the Jal Mahal with restaurants and outdoor seating perfect for tea, drinks, or a relaxed evening

5. Johri Bazaar: Famous for its world-renowned gemstones, jewellery, and traditional craftsmanship.

6. Bapu Bazaar: The ultimate destination for colorful Rajasthani textiles, bandhani (tie and dye) dupattas, pottery, and traditional juttis (shoes).
